In 2007 I left my expectations behind and set out to quench a thirst for the kind of travel where the only plan was ‘to not have a plan’.

What I discovered cannot be put into simple words. What I saw continues to inspire me daily.

The photos in this book represent a subset of my experiences during a 7-month lazy wander across Northern India and Nepal.

Every Book is a Donation

Just one book can give one Nepali child a chance at an education.

For every book purchased I will pass on a $20 donation in your name to just-one.org (the organization I worked with while in Nepal.)

At the current exchange rate $20 US is roughly 1300 NRS (Nepali Rupees.)

This is enough to provide each child:

One tailor-made school uniform (trousers and shirt)
One durable hand-made school bag
A few months' supply of copy books and pencils
One pair of school shoes
A 20kg bag of rice as a small incentive to the family to send him/her to school instead of work.
